A New Love in My Life

I went to pick Jess up from her friend's house after a visit to the family's farm. I came back with more than just Jess.

I came back with a cute little girl, which I intended to name "Diva," but so far all we call her is "Kitty." She's sweet and spunky. However, she is still not friends with Sheba. Sheba's trying.


Even our boxer, Maggie, is awkwardly trying to reach out in her own bumbling dog way. So far, both are simply rewarded with spitting and hissing and puffing up. Eventually, I'm sure, Miss Diva...or Kitty... or whatever...will have to come to terms with them and make new friends.

Until then, Jess, Jo and I are her favorite "peeps." Ahhh....baby kittens....so much cute packed into a tiny little ball of ornery. Life is good.
